    Hi Flora,
I was very happy to have had this site sent to me by an Ontario Artist in our area, Col Mitchell, a painter and paper artist, and she does beautiful work also. I was thrilled to be able to view your video on making the watercolour monoprint. Thank you thank you thank you so much! So kind to share. I am not an artist of any kind, but long to try it all …Tomorrow, my Sunday afternoon will be the beginning of what I hope to be a lovely print with your guidance. I will start with a very small piece, and not too many colours.
I hope you have a great weekend, and I have liked you, and bookmarked your site. You and Larry have what a appears to be a real life dream world there. The setting looks fabulous, and in my opinion the people from Nova Scotia are among the best you will ever find.
    Kind regards,
    Arlene Peavoy

    Hi Flora and Larry,

Just to say Hi, and enjoyed seeing your site, artwork and jewellery. And 2 great cats.
I came across you while reading The Abundant Artist…a wonderful help to get a site going.
I am SLOWLY building a site to sell from my studio, though already have an established wholesale biz for many years (Wild Design) . My steady customers are The Guild Shop, Vancouver Art Gallery Shop and other Canadiana shops. I paint also. Studied at OCA many years ago.

I’m using a free theme from WordPress, and wonder why you bought themes from Themetrust…are they easier for artisan/painters like us ??? Do you use the “Craft” theme?

I wish you both well, and hope all the writing isn’t taking up your studio time !!

    Best,

    Hi Jacquelin!
Thanks for stopping by and sorry for missing your letter until now.
I really like the way Themetrust lays out their themes and they have been quite helpful with my questions about how to tweek the theme. The fellow who designed them is a graphic artist and I liked that idea.
At the same time, there are lots of free themes on WordPress and recently I’ve come across a few that I really think would be good for a visual site. I recently changed the theme on our daily-life-blog http://floramary.wordpress.com to a new free one. I like that it displays all the photos from every post.
The possiblities are endless and it can be very confusing to know where to start sometimes.
How is your site building coming?
    Flora

Just came across your website today. I would love to take your class, but it’s a bit of a hike from Winnipeg! Would you consider offering an online tutorial for enameling? I would be interested! Joan
